Hotard Wildlife Control and Property Preservation, LLC was founded by Michael Hotard in March of 2009.  As evidenced by its name, it was first established as a nuisance animal control organization serving local Louisiana municipalities, industries, and individuals.  Since opening in 2009, Hotard Wildlife has served a long list of clients and has been featured on National Geographic TV and in several local news articles. As a licensed nuisance animal control officer, Michael Hotard currently serves as a designated responder for local 911 emergency calls relating to nuisance or dangerous animals. 

Due to the seasonal nature of his core business, Michael extended his business services to include property preservation and protection and lawn care throughout Southern Louisiana.  Today, those services have grown based on demand and they now represent the majority of Hotard Wildlife’s business.  The firm is rapidly growing and is focused on expanding its property preservation services beyond its current capacity.  It now offers securing services, full service property clean-outs, debris removal, repairs, initial and routine inspections, system checks, property condition reports, winterizations, lawn care, and of course the removal of bats, rats, snakes, raccoons, wild boars, and other nuisance animals from both vacant and occupied properties.
